Racami, the CCM/CX software and IT services provider, announced the release of a new USPS postal processing connector for the Alchem-e platform. The connector securely exchanges address data from Alchem-e’s data processing and production control system with TEC Mailing Solutions’ WS API portal to perform CASS, NCOA, presorting and postal optimization. Racami’s customers graphically build workflows in Alchem-e FLOW by sequencing prebuilt functions and tasks available in its activity library. Alchem-e users now have the option to add TEC Mailing’s WS API to their workflows for cleansing and certifying data at various points in the preparation and production cycle.
“This collaboration generates tremendous value for our mutual customers because their data is improved by TEC Mailing’s sophisticated postal processing engine as an automated step orchestrated by Alchem-e.” States Matt Mahoney, EVP of Sales and Marketing for Racami. “That improved data is applied not only to physical mailings, but email, sms, and other communications managed by Alchem-e’s consumer identity and preference management capabilities.”
“It’s not surprising to see Racami take the lead integrating a hosted mailing API, it’s what the industry has been demanding. It’s one less server, elimination of mandatory postal updates with greater capabilities than onsite software.” Explains Scott Eganhouse VP, TEC Mailing.“Plus, with the reduced volumes of mail, we’ve introduced some novel automated cost savings strategies that have saved our clients millions in postage versus using traditional postal software.”
Recent increases in USPS postage and longer delivery times are causing companies to look for more ways to reduce physical mailing costs and migrate to alternatives. TEC Mailing Solutions and Racami are two vendors who offer companies ways to reach these goals.
